Explore the vineyards ↗As Southern California natives, we dreamed of bringing our love of wine country closer to home. Visits to Napa Valley sparked our vision of owning a vineyard, while international travels and memorable food and wine experiences deepened our appreciation for the connection between a place and what it produces.
That vision brought us to Temecula, where we chose to put down vineyard roots in the region we call home. Today, Victoria Row’s 3.5 acres of Cabernet Franc and Obsidian Hill’s 2.5 acres of Syrah give that dream two distinct expressions, each with its own character and a personal connection to our family.
Two places. Two distinct perspectives.
Named in honor of our niece Victoria, Victoria Row brings a family connection to a place whose elegance and beauty inspired its identity. Set at our Madera de Playa property, its 3.5 acres of Cabernet Franc stretch across rolling vineyard grounds.
Here, the vines surround the Vintage House and its outdoor gathering spaces, creating the feeling of being immersed in the vineyard. It is a place where our love of wine country and our appreciation for thoughtful hospitality come together.
Victoria Row supplied all of the fruit for Europa Village’s 100% Cabernet Franc, with release expected in 2027.

Obsidian Hill takes its name from the striking black residence above the vines at our Anza property. Its distinctive silhouette brings a bold architectural character to the valley and a personal identity to the vineyard we call home.
With 2.5 acres planted to Syrah, Obsidian Hill represents another expression of the vineyard life we intentionally sought: a daily connection to the land, rooted in the place we live.
Syrah grapes grown at Obsidian Hill were used by Wiens Cellars in Temecula, California, in its Syrah wine.

Long before we owned a vineyard, we loved visiting wine country. On trips to Napa Valley, we wondered how vineyard owners had found their way into this life—and dreamed of one day having a vineyard of our own. Our travels abroad and experiences with food and wine deepened that interest. Colombier Vineyards grew from the deliberate decision to make that dream part of our lives in Temecula.
